Venues like WGTS 91.9 give kids and adults a Godly
alternative and plant seeds that can produce fruit to the glory of
God.

Do you realize this
station even reaches our soldiers fighting in Iraq for our continued
freedom? There they are putting their lives on the line to ensure
our country can have the freedoms we take for granted everyday. And
you may be taking away the only link they have to Christian
ministry.

I do not know what
Columbia Union College's mission statement is, but if it is to equip
and minister to the saved and unsaved, I can not see the logic
behind not supporting the Christian music and broadcasting of 91.9.

Without the ministry
of 91.9, Columbia Union College would have no impact on my life.

I can't tell you how
valuable it is as a parent to be able to put on a radio station and
know that your 9 year old son and 5 year old daughter aren't going
to hear things they shouldn't. They ASK for GTS to be put on the
radio, even on short trips.

WGTS has saved
hundreds, if not thousands of peoples' lives through their
radio broadcast.

This ministry has
gotten me through times of stress and personal pain.

I'm a poor recent
college grad, and I recently donated a percentage of a bonus I
received at work to WGTS, because I love it so much. Please keep it
on the air!

I have even
introduced it to another coworker who is not a Christian, and I know
he listens on a regular basis.

Please Please Please
do not let this wonderful ministry die. The last year of my life
Satan has attacked every area and sometimes it was a song or a
prayer or another believer phoning in with their issues that
made mine bearable.

I could write pages
of testimony regarding how WGTS touches my life on a daily basis,
inspiring me, keeping me grounded and facilitating my faith
formation.

This station has
helped remind me of whose I am and that this life is temporary. Our
ministry is for God, first and foremost.

We have so many
hurting souls out there that may only hear the WORD from WGTS. I
can’t begin to wonder what a Christian College would have in their
minds to think about such a drastic move.

I have the sickest
feeling right now, as I have just learned of possible sale of WGTS.
You can’t begin to imagine how I have come to rely on that station,
my family and friends as well. The thought of it being gone really
feels like a punch in the gut, a slice being taken from the pie of
grace in my life.

Please do NOT SELL
this very important ministry. Its ministry has literally saved me
in times of distress and hopelessness.

I hope that when you
consider the bids and the outcome of the sale, you will consider the
significant and priceless influence WGTS has on a very dark world
that needs to know Jesus as their savior.

Hopefully
consideration will be given to the many people who will miss this
Station including (Our Troops) over in Iraq .

I just recently
wrote a letter to one of our Church family stationed in Iraq
suggesting that he might find uplift by going to the wgts919.org
website and clicking on LISTEN LIVE as they have internet access.

God's will cannot be
that 91.9 FM become a secular station. It is simply a matter of
whether the right people will make the right decision.
