Praise God for His Mighty
goodness. The sale of WGTS has been rescinded. Prayer is
a transforming power, and we’ve just seen evidence of it. When we
pray, we invite the Holy Spirit into our hearts and minds, and
through His transforming work, problems seem manageable and
solutions seem possible where none could be seen before.
Your prayers and the listener testimonies you shared
made a difference in this decision. Thank
you for lifting up before God: those entrusted with making this
decision, and both the college and WGTS. Columbia Union
College still faces grave financial challenges, but CUC’s Board of
Trustees is moving forward in faith that God is in control. We
continue to pray for them, that God will show the way to return CUC
to a vibrant, thriving campus, where students flock to attend, to
learn, and to grow as young people of faith. We ask for your
continued prayers for this as well.
WGTS will continue its listener-supported
mission—empowered and reenergized by grace and God’s leading—to
share the mercy of the Cross with its listeners. Thank you for the
support you’ve shown in all ways—spiritual and financial.
